She laid the doll on a bed, and put it on the stand by the glass: see how nice it looks. 4. Ann made a nice sash of silk to put round the doll's waist, with a clasp on it. 5. And she would sit by her doll, and read, write, and learn her task so well, that she would not miss one word of it in school. 6. He took them home, but he did not feed them, the poor young birds all died. 3. He went to see if he could find more birds, he found the poor old bird at her nest. 4. He heard her moans and cries, as she sought for her young, but found them not. 5. Job saw her grief, and felt as though he had done wrong to rob a bird of her young. 6.
